Welcome to Dave's Down to Earth Rock Shop online! 

     Hello everyone!

     So...we have been very busy the past couple of weeks getting all the new inventory unpacked and it's almost all out in the shop.   For those of you that visit the store regularly, you know we have it packed in pretty tight so it's always a challenge to find space to display new minerals/fossils.  It's also a ton of fun...or a few tons actually!  Once we get it all sorted out we can begin updating the web site content again.  We will be adding new inventory, updating the photography for the mineral glossary, and working on adding pages to explore the Prehistoric Life Museum online.  So stop by the shop or check back on the website soon for all kinds of new minerals, fossils and more! 

      We appreciate the overwhelmingly positive feedback from our customers over the years about our old website.  However, we have decided to update the site to be more consistent with what is happening in the world of Dave's Rock Shop today.  While much remains the same here at Dave's after almost 40 years of buisiness (thats right...40 years!),  many of the items featured on the old site found good homes, with good people a long time ago!  Also, we have significantly expanded our inventory to include many more minerals, fossils, gemstones, crystals, jewelry, and Native American art. 

     Our mission remains the same both in the shop and on online - to offer a wide variety of the most unique, high quality items at a fair price, and to educate our customers to the best of our ability about the items we sell.  Stop by often, as we will frequently be updating and adding new things to the site and the shop!
